Notebook

The Notebook

The Notebook is the backbone of senSEi. It mirrors how sales information is naturally structured: accounts contain opportunities, which contain meetings and contacts.

Node types

  • Account — A company or customer. Stores health, tier, and custom properties.
  • Opportunity — A specific deal. Tracks stage, ARR, close date, Command of the Message fields, and Presales Tracking fields.
  • Meeting — A meeting tied to an opportunity. Has date, attendees, type, summary, transcript, and action items.
  • Contact — A person at an account. Auto-created when you add attendees to a meeting.
  • Note — A free-form note, now with full rich text editing (headings, bullets, bold, etc.).
  • Free folder — A folder to group items however you like.

Creating nodes

Click + in the sidebar header to add a top-level account or folder. To add a child node, hover over the parent and click its + icon.

Opportunity: Sales tab

Open any opportunity to see the Sales tab. It has four sub-tabs covering deal intelligence and messaging:

  • COM — The 7-field Force Management Value-Based Conversation: Challenges, Positive Business Outcomes, Required Capabilities, Metrics, How We Do It, How We Do It Better, Proof Points. AI fills these from transcripts. Score shown as X/7 filled.
  • Mantra — The full CoM assembled as a conversational script you can read end-to-end. Click Copy Mantra to paste into deal reviews. Click any unfilled field to jump back to COM and add it.
  • BV Slides — AI-generated executive Business Value slide content (headline, bullets, SE talking points, customer evidence) from your CoM data and transcripts. Click ✦ Generate BV Slides to create 7–9 slides ready for an exec presentation.
  • Signals — Objections and buying-intent quotes extracted across all meeting transcripts. Grouped by theme with recurrence count across meetings.

Opportunity: Presales tab

The Presales tab has four sub-tabs covering technical qualification and the POC:

  • Presales — Okta SFDC presales fields (stage, confidence, tech diff, POC status, risks, next steps, MDP, notes, SE Manager notes). Click ✦ Analyze Presales in the AI panel to auto-fill from transcripts.
  • State Analysis — Current and Future State diagrams with AI-generated architecture visuals and Mermaid diagrams.
  • TechQual — Technical qualification scorecard with 7 criteria and verbatim evidence quotes.
  • POC Guide — Full POC workspace: use cases, AI-generated build steps, milestone schedule, success criteria, required features, team contacts, and one-click PDF export with state diagrams. Run ✦ Extract to auto-populate from transcripts in three phases: structured data → narrative → prescriptive build instructions.

Opportunity: Presales Tracking

The Presales sub-tab inside the Presales tab maps directly to Okta's SFDC presales fields:

  • Presales Stage — 1-Assigned through 8-Zombies
  • Presales Confidence — High, Low, or Not Forecasted Quarter
  • Technical Differentiation — Superior, Neutral, or Inferior
  • POC Status — Upcoming, Started, or Complete
  • Presales Concern — Multi-select: Competitor, Political Alignment, Price, Product, Services Cost, Timing
  • Risks / Gaps, Presales Next Steps, Presales Notes — Text fields. Notes are append-only (format: mm/dd/yy <Initials> [Update: …]).
  • MDP Status + MDP Link — Mutual Deployment Plan tracking
  • SE Manager Notes — Space for your manager's read-out
  • Link to Box / GDocs — URL to customer-facing materials

Click ✦ Analyze Presales in the AI panel to auto-fill these fields from meeting transcripts.

Detail pane

Click any node to open its detail pane. Edit properties, write rich notes in the block editor, and manage action items.

Resizing the sidebar

Drag the divider between the sidebar and the detail pane to resize. Width is saved automatically.

Contacts

Contacts for an account are grouped inside a Contacts folder directly under the account. They are created automatically when you add attendees to a meeting. Deduplication is by name and email.

Custom properties

On any node's detail pane, scroll down to add custom key-value properties.
